A client contacted us today as they received an automated phone call claiming to be from HMRC asking them to contact them immediately or “get” a solicitor and face the consequences.

Our client was really worried by this and contacted us directly as they thought the terminology of “get” a solicitor was not very professional.

Please be vigilant for any calls, texts or emails that are sent to you claiming to be from HMRC.  If in doubt, please contact us before any action is taken.
