HMRC has set up a new helpline to help any business or self-employed person who is concerned about paying their tax due to any knock-on effect of coronavirus.  

When telephoning, they are more than happy to help with the following:-

·        Agreeing instalment arrangements

·        Suspending debt collection procedure

·        Cancelling penalties and interest 

Their opening hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm, and Saturday 8am to 4pm. The helpline telephone number is 0800 015 9559.
