How Businesses are helping others

During these unprecedented times, it’s interesting to see how businesses are adapting to the changes. Some are even adapting to help others for nothing, just to help.

Your Local.Delivery is one of them and we are proud to be one of the organisations to endorse them, along with others such as Canterbury City Council, Business Vision Live and Canterbury BID to name just three.

They are helping by supporting local businesses to sell their goods online and help them to survive the current difficult trading circumstances. Since its launch last month, a number of Kent businesses have signed up to the service and are already experiencing sales.

Your Local.Delivery supports local business owners to swiftly launch their own click & collect delivery service, ensuring they can stay open online without incurring additional costs or a lengthy set-up process.

There are no fees attached to businesses who sign up to YourLocal.Delivery. At no stage will businesses occur fees at any point of this process.

YourLocal.Delivery is completely free for any business within our communities. As a business in Kent, we want to help. You can find out more information on this service here: https://yourlocal.delivery/.

Piperis Filippaios, Managing Director of digitalbeans and the creator of YourLocal.Delivery, says: “We’re thrilled to hear that businesses such as Goddard’s Pies are already benefiting from the service and hope many more business owners will succeed as we make the switch to online easier.

“We set up YourLocal.Delivery to ensure we were doing our bit to keep Kent’s High Street businesses trading in these difficult times and supply local communities with essentials. Working together with other agencies, local authorities and Produced in Kent, we are hoping this will support businesses during the current uncertainty and protect the county’s economy in the long-term.”
