It is important to hand in your company’s records to us in a timely manner after your year-end has passed so we have plenty of time to meet your Companies House filing deadline.
If you fail to file your company accounts on time you will receive late filing penalties.
The penalties will increase with the length of time your accounts are late.
The following fines will be charged:
Filed up to 1 month late – £150
Filed from 1 to 2 months late – £375
Filed from 3 to 6 months late – £750
Filed more than 6 months late – £1,500
If your company accounts are filed late 2 years in a row, the penalties will be doubled in the second year.
Failing to file your accounts could also lead to your company being struck off by Companies House.
