The Job Retention Bonus, a one off taxable £1,000 per employee payment, will no longer be able to be claimed as the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme has been extended until the end of April 2021.
The Government had previously announced that any employer who keeps a furloughed staff member continuously employed until January 31st 2021, will receive a £1,000 bonus which does not have to be paid back.
